Boom

In the beginning,
Void and Emptiness
(except what is there that is not empty?)
Silence
(except what is there that is not silent?)
Were there anyone there (where?) to feel it,
the void swirls with Almost
Dancing cloud of virtual particles
(except what is there that is real?)

And then a Mightbe
Becomes an Is with a quick
--CRACK--
of nonexistent knuckles,
A deft flick of (well, not fingers)
KAZAM -- there, a positron and an electron!
They split, dance, collide, destroy
Already decay, and gamma rays
Ah, but now it's there, the energy,
And now a proton, another electron,
An anti-proton, a positron,
And again the dance
And again the burgeoning (well, not life)
Atom (pieces of eight, sixteen, a million)
Molecule
Cell
Bones and blood and hair
Breath of life (now it's life)
You and me
We dance the dance
Of the dance of life.
